Piers Morgan is in no mood to back down and has

tweeted to Virender Sehwag proposing a Rs1 million bet!

British journalist Piers Morgan’s Twitter war with cricketer Virender Sehwag reached a new high with the CNN presenter’s recent wager challenging Sehwag. Starting from his remark about India going on an overdrive in its celebrations of the two medals the country has won in the Rio Olympics to his latest tweet, Morgan has not minced words in this battle.
Making sure he doesn’t get away with his tweets is Sehwag, who has tweeted to Morgan with witty comebacks. But falling prey to the age-old problem of tweeting without checking, Morgan’s last tweet – albeit now deleted – offering Sehwag a bet has got the 51-year-old in a soup. Morgan’s now-deleted tweet read — “Hi @virendersehwag, I bet you 1 million rupees to charity that England wins a ODI World Cup before India wins an Olympic Gold. Accept?”

The journalist had clearly overlooked the fact that India has a history of winning eight gold medals in hockey and a shooting gold for Abhinav Bindra at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Having this error pointed out by the Twitterati, Morgan was quick to tweak his post, which now reads — “Hi @virendersehwag, I bet you 1 million rupees to charity that England wins a ODI World Cup before India wins another Olympic Gold. Accept?”
Social media users, of course, have not spared the man. Even before Sehwag, people have been calling Morgan out for his absolutely unrequired posts on the micro-blogging website. Morgan, on the other hand, has been unperturbed and unapologetic. One user has even gone ahead and tweeted that he hopes the water in Britain is cold enough for Morgan to apply to his burn.
Here are some reactions his tweets have triggered so far.

England: Tell us a joke.
Indian: Cricket World cup
England: Sorry, didn't get it.
Indian: Exactly..😂😂😂😂@virendersehwag

While Twitterati is waiting with bated breath for Sehwag’s reply, the cricketer has posted a rather cryptic tweet.

Some people's fortune is so bad, that
Apply Apply,
But No Reply ..
Hahahaha

Wondering what his tweet means? So are we! But for those who think they have an idea what he’s talking about, let us know in the comments section.
